Life is good
I am finally settling down getting used to work, living alone, making decently nutritious meals and setting aside time to learn Japanese. I must admit that last night I was a little down and did proceed to drink a few too many beers, but upon waking up this morning I decided to make the most of my day.
As a consequence I think I had a good day and a step in the right direction for my new life in Japan. School in the morning went well with my 3-4 year olds in Duck class, I went with my boss Kyoko to pickup my Gaijin card, I got to watch the Daily show + South Park (Comedy central online streaming is amazing), an Episode of HBO’s The Pacific, all followed by a hefty session of learning Japanese on Rosetta Stone and Pimsleur. I was able to skype with my friend Tatsuro in Yokohoma and go over plans for the weekend which I am really excited for! AIESEC Keio is having a Global Village get together on Saturday and so I am going to spend the weekend with friends in the Kanto region (larger Tokyo area) and am really excited!! Tomorrow is Friday, TGIF. In the morning I am going to skype my dad and then after work my co-workers and I are going to eat, drink and explore our home of Isesaki and enjoy a lil employee bonding :D Then on saturday I hop on a train to go create some more good memories in Tokyo and Yokohama.
Banzai!! :*)
