It’s official, my brother Blake Lyon is in Japan. I have been looking forward to this for some time and am ecstatic he is finally here. As my brother said when we say things we are going to do we do it. Blake and I had said he would come visit during my break and here he is during my break. 
     My last week preceding this weekend was tough and trying mainly because we had our first week of summer school at Felice. I was working with the head teacher at our school, Heather, with the older kids (first and 2nd grade). Every day was filled with science experiments and pool duty in the hot and humid Gunma weather. But that being finished I get to go have an adventure with my brother. And when I come back to work I will have 2 more weeks and I am done at Felice.

Until the 8th of August Blake and I will make the most of his stay with me. We are heading to one of the best beaches in Japan tonight, to a place called Izu and then tomorrow will be able to enjoy it. On sunday night we will head to Yokohama hopefully to see some fireworks and then come Monday morning we will board a plane for Hokkaido, the northern Japanese island. The weather should be nice and so should the sites. I am really looking forward to it. 

After our 3 or so day spent in Hokkaido we don’t have any set plans but I think we will head to lake Hakone and maybe to the Tochigi prefecture to see a summer festival. The adventure has just begun!
